We are on the hunt for a highly-analytical and qualified Financial Officer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the financial health of our company by managing our financial procedures. Your duties will include planning budgets, participating in audits, monitoring transactions, and preparing invoices.

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also have outstanding analytical and time management abilities.


  • Oversee the preparation and planning of budgets.
  • Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions.
  • Create and implement financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to financial audits.
  • Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
  • Ensure financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
  • Prepare balance sheets and invoices.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Outstanding analytical and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Vacancies | Position: Incubation Director

Work Location: Mogadishu-Somalia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist startups in the areas of strategy, business plan development, market analysis, company registrations.
  • Analyze financial statements, forecasts and funding requirements of each potential startup.
  • Define deliverables, their timelines and monitor the progress of startups
  • Identify and select potential incubatees/startups for the incubation program.
  • Create a database system for the startups/incubatees
  • Define, build and finalize client agreements.
  • Understand the requirements of startups and build a mentoring relationship through the mentor pool.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, Government bodies, service companies
  • Promote iRise Hub  to attract the best startups and help build and shape the brand image
  • Ability to independently lead and execute projects
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Qualifications:
  • 3 – 4 years industry experience
  • Proven track record of managing large projects.
  • Prior experience at an investment firm, an incubator is preferred.
