iRise Hub is Somali’s first living innovation, tech and entrepreneurship hub that is championing to drive a sustainable, impact-based solutions in Somalia.

We are more than a tech hub; we’re a community of innovators, techies, social entrepreneurs, students, IT geeks, government officials, banks and a growing number of SMEs who are shaping and disrupting Somali’s multifaceted socio-economic challenges.

We are a leading entrepreneurship-led, home-grown ecosystem. We have nearly five years of on-ground experience in providing support directly to entrepreneurs and working closely with the private sector, multilateral agencies and the government to create a more stable, resilient, and equitable Somalia. We have successfully delivered high-value impact entrepreneurship and economy strengthening programs to clients such as the Premier Bank, Dahabshiil Bank, IBS Bank, EU, UNFPA, UNIDO, USAID, US Embassy, UNICEF, UN Habitat, and the World Bank, just to name a few.

We have deep roots in the local communities of Somalia and are passionate about supporting the youth -- Somalia’s next generation of leaders. Our unique advantage lies in disruptive technology and innovation that can transform people’s life at speed and scope. We have large pool of experts in various the filed including, but not limited to, climate resilience, food security and building resilience infrastructure. Our aim is to place technology and innovation at the heart of Somali’s next leap.

Over the last five years, we have executed various and complex projects that required the application of technology and innovation in synchronized and sustainable manner. Through these assignments, we have reached and impacted a wide range of local communities including those in remote and rural areas.

Our board and management include international development practitioners, educators, and seasoned businessmen with both extensive international and local experience. Our on-ground team in Mogadishu have deeply-rooted knowledge and experience. We are young, we are passionate, and we are committed to scaling our work in supporting entrepreneurs and the youth to gain better employment opportunities.
